At Richard Dolgin Private Jeweler, our specialty is crafting custom made jewelry.
Often clients have old jewelry that may have been purchased long ago or inherited from a family member that isn’t being worn. We can work with you to take your existing jewelry and create a brand new custom piece of art that you will not want to stop wearing.
Bring in your existing jewelry and any ideas or images of jewelry designs that inspire you to our discreet Overland Park Jewelry studio. During a one on one meeting, we will assess your existing piece, detailing the value of the precious gems and metal. Once your existing pieces are assessed we can determine what gems to possibly reuse. We will be happy to buy unused metals as credit towards your custom job.
Marsha, our master jeweler, and I will participate in a one on one consultation to get an idea of your personal style and jewelry preferences. Based on your ideas or even images you provide, Marsha can create sketches of possible jewelry designs.
The process of working with you to create a custom piece of jewelry involves:
Private consultation/Assessment of your jewelry
Learning your personality
Discussion of design ideas
Review of design ideas & sketches
Fabrication of new jewelry components
Finishing, polishing, fitting
Here are some images of some past and present custom jewelry.
