Watches - Restoring to Working Order

We enjoy getting your watches back to good running order.

Many of our clients have prized family heirloom watches that are not in good running order. It is my feeling that these old watches are a piece of history and if possible should be restored to working condition. Many times I am sorry to say that parts are not available or the movements have rusted to the point that restoration is not possible. Before this happens bring your watch to us to see if we can get it back to good running order.

We are lucky to be associated with a local Master third generation watchmaker who is a true genius. His expertise and knowledge never ceases to amaze me. Every time we meet I learn something new about watches.  In many cases we have remade hands for antique pocket watches, made watch parts that are no longer in production, and cleaned, oiled and adjusted timepieces so they can continue to work accurately.

Recently we have been lucky enough to work on brands such as Ebel, Corum, Piaget, Rolex,  Jaegr-LeCoultre, and many fine antique pocket watch brands including Waltham, Elgin, Hamilton, Patek Philippe, and Hampden.

If you have a watch that needs a battery or repair please contact Richard Dolgin Private Jeweler. We will guide you through the process of getting your watch back to good running order.
