One of the things we enjoy the most at Richard Dolgin Private Jeweler is working with clients to bring their vision of the perfect engagement ring into reality.
A new client interviewed many jewelers to come up with a good match to create an engagement ring as art. He chose us to take on this amazing project. Our client, an artist and photographer, brought a great understanding of 3 dimensional views to the project.
In addition to design ideas, our client wanted to incorporate diamonds from the jewelry of many family members into the design for the new wedding set. This included diamonds from a grandmother, mother and aunt. He had done research to find pictures of rings to give us insight into the design and texture wanted in the finished project.
Taking these photos and our client's input, Marsha's artistic ability, our state of the art equipment, and my years of experience, we were able to put together an amazing design so Marsha could start the model of the engagement ring and wedding band. We decided to use 18k yellow gold and a platinum bezel set head for the center diamond. We took diamonds from the past and gypsy set them into the engagement ring. Below is a gallery of the process from start to finish.
